From mini music festivals and outdoor theatre productions to the much-anticipated state fair and Christmas events, Lynnwood has a full list of activities planned for 2026.
West Van Card Show
January 3, 2026
Head to the Lynnwood Event Center to browse, buy, sell, and trade your favorite cards. Whether you’re a Pokemon fan, a collector of rare sports cards, or are simply interested in this hobby, the West Van Card Show is the place to go. The event goes from Noon to 5pm, tickets are $10 at the door. If you miss this one, there are two additional dates you can aim for: February 28, March 29, May 2, June 20 and July 25.
FenCon Expo

A local comic, stamp, and coin expo, FenCon attracts collectors from all over the region. This event is held three times a year (May, August, and December), giving visitors several chances to explore local vendors, meet other enthusiasts, and share in a community atmosphere. The event is held at the Lynnwood Event Center and charges a small admission fee.
Cops & Kids
June 6, 2026
An annual event held in June, Cops & Kids gives families a chance to interact with police officers, explore all sorts of police vehicles – from cars to motorcycles – and meet the K9s that help keep the city safe. Demonstrations, games, and prizes top off the event, which takes place from 10:00am-1:00pm at Alderwood Mall Terraces.
Edmonds Arts Festival

Edmonds Arts Festival is a three-day event with artist booths, galleries with juried fine art, a student art showcase, performing arts on stage, and food booths. Whether you’re looking to purchase a trendy, one-of-a-kind masterpiece for your wall, find customized gifts, browse galleries, listen to music on the main stage, or let the kids take part in make-and-take art projects, this annual event is a must for every summer itinerary.
Celebrate!

Lynnwood’s official kick-off to summer, Celebrate! is described as a one-day mini music festival held at Alderwood Mall Terraces. Visitors can spend the evening listening to several musical acts, enjoy a bite to eat at a series of food trucks serving up local fare, and wander through a beer and wine garden.
History and Heritage Days

An annual summer event, History and Heritage Days honors the community’s start dating back to the early 1900s. Historic buildings inside the iconic Alderwood Manor, Lynnwood’s first rural community, are open for the public to explore. Now nestled inside Heritage Park, visitors can explore the grounds of the founding community and visit the Wickers Building, Superintendent’s Cottage, Humble House, Water Tower, and a restored Interurban trolley car.
Shakespeare in the Park

Held at Lynndale Park Amphitheatre, Shakespeare in the Park invites residents and visitors to enjoy a show in a community atmosphere. Each year, several different plays are selected and presented on Thursday evenings with first-come, first-served stadium seating. Show are open to the public with a $5 donation suggested.
Lynnwood Luau

Grab your Hawaiian shirt and flip flops and head to the Lynnwood Luau. This free, family-focused event features live music, Polynesian dancing, demonstrations, and tasty treats from local food trucks. In its fourth year, the event offers an afternoon full of entertainment from 2:00-8:00pm at the Lynnwood Event Center.
Evergreen State Fair

The annual, 11-day Evergreen State Fair offers carnival rides, sweet and savory food, beer gardens, animal encounters, live entertainment, and more. From thrilling rides for the kids to tasty treats for the grown-ups, like gourmet grilled cheese, Mexican street corn, and BBQ, there’s no lack of things to explore and enjoy across the 193-acre state fair grounds. Expect to pay both an admission fee and a parking fee.
Fair on 44th

Touted as the city’s annual community health and safety block party, Fair on 44th encourages people to visit about 100 community vendor booths. Guests can see demonstrations from the local fire department, get free vaccinations, snap pictures with first responders, pick a book from a mobile library, and more! The event always draws a crowd, which is why the city shuts down six blocks of 44th street to host the one-day event.
El Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead Celebration)

Lynnwood hosts a yearly El Dia de Los Muertos celebration, which is one of Mexico’s most important traditions that celebrates the lives of those who have died. As part of this community event held at the Lynnwood Event Center, visitors are welcome to bring a photo of their loved one to add to the community altar, a signature part of the tradition. Guests can also enjoy authentic Mexican food, raffles, face painting, and kid-friendly games.
Jingle Bell Breakfast and Craft Fair

Ring in the holiday season with a delicious breakfast, kids craft, face painting, and pictures with Santa Claus at the Lynnwood Event Center. Musical acts are scheduled throughout the morning as well. This ticketed event takes place upstairs, while downstairs buzzes with craft vendors, which is free to explore.
