Inspired by the style and sophistication of the 1970s, this after-hours event invites guests to embrace the era by dressing in vintage-inspired attire or classic flight attendant fashion. Enjoy an evening filled with live music, immersive storytelling, and nostalgic hospitality.
The night begins with a reception in the Red Barn, where you can mingle with fellow guests and explore the Museum’s newest temporary exhibition, Runway to Runway. The celebration then moves to the covered Aviation Pavilion, featuring airline-inspired fare based on historic menus from The Museum of Flight’s collection and live performances by The Vee Speeds, playing favorite hits from the 1970s.
One of the evening’s highlights is a fireside chat with retired flight attendants, who will share candid stories and memorable experiences from their years in the skies, offering a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at commercial aviation during its most glamorous era.
