What is the Woodcut Single Barrel #2:
What does a gin distilled with kaffir lime leaves, nutmeg, lemongrass, galangal, and sage do when it ages in a bourbon/amaretto cask for 3 years? Now is your one and only chance to find out!
Tasting Notes: Aromas of eucalyptus, cocoa nibs, vanilla, and american oak. Lychee fruit, honey, and a lifting burst of pink peppercorn carry the first sip until settling down into a harmonious mixture of stone fruit, nutmeg, and toasted orange peel.
This is being released at the perfect time, an amazingly complex gin worthy of simply sipping and contemplating. A great gift for the gin and whiskey connoisseur alike, you might find it takes a glass or two to really unpack all of the different elements at play.
