It’s October Fun In And Around Lynnwood!

October is truly an amazing time to visit Lynnwood. Especially if you like PUMPKINS! Snohomish Valley is considered THE Pumpkin Capital of the Northwest.  There are many pumpkin farms throughout Snohomish Valley are full of the orange orbs throughout October, so you are virtually guaranteed to find that perfect, amazing, one of a kind jack-o-lantern-to-be. There are also several corn mazes to navigate your way through by day or, if you dare, explore them by night as the farms get awfully spooky as zombies, ghosts and ghouls take over the evening entertainment.

If you are looking for a bit of old-timiness this fall, pay a visit to Bob’s Corn & Pumpkin Farm in Snohomish. From August – October, Bob’s has lots of great fall family fun, including the ubiquitous corn maze and pumpkin patch. As the name implies, Bob’s also has amazing sweet corn, picked fresh from the field and roasted in his giant corn roaster. In addition, there are lots of other fresh as can be produce and honey sourced right at the farm. The County Store has a great selection of homemade goods and yumminess to take home.

The Fall Festival at Craven Farm offers fun and festivities for the whole family!  Spend the day celebrating fall with fun activities like mini golf, a petting zoo, human foosball and more.  The 20-acre u-pick patch offers a large variety of pumpkins, squash and gourds in every shape and color.  Get lost in the Alice in Wonderland themed corn maze or take the kiddos through Kid’s Adventure Maze.

Stocker Farms keeps the fall fun rolling with over 30 activities to celebrate the season.  Fall Days at Stocker Farms is filled with fall-themed adventure like Spookley’s House, Hayrides, Pumpkin Tic-Tac-Toe, Hayloft Hoist and more!   Visiting on the weekend?  Be sure to come hungry and enjoy some roasted corn, burgers, and kettle corn.

If beer is your beverage of desire, the Annual Snohomish Brewfest is scheduled for November 2020.  Enjoy wonderful samplings of local breweries and live music and give your tummy a treat with the famous Snohomish Brewfest Sausage Dinner.

Of course, just being outside is the best celebration of fall. Lynnwood has a number of parks with play areas, athletic fields, miles and miles of trails to explore the great Washington outdoors by foot or by bike. Enjoy the colors of fall as you enjoy the mild temperatures in the crisp, clean air.
