Cookies with Santa

On Sunday, December 3, bring the whole family to the Heritage Cottage to take part in this Lynnwood holiday tradition—Cookies with Santa! Visit with Saint Nick himself, enjoy some delicious hot beverages, and share Santa’s favorite snack. Did we mention it’s free?

 

Menorah Lighting

Join the Chabad of Snohomish County at Lynnwood City Hall on Sunday, December 10 for the lighting of the giant menorah. You can also enjoy entertainment from the Klez Katz Klezmer Band, tasty treats, and more! It’s free fun for the whole family.

Holiday Craft Fairs and Bazaars

Looking for unique, hand-crafted holiday gifts for your loved ones? Drop by the Lynnwood Embassy Suites on December 3, and the Lynnwood Event Center on December 15 and 16 for craft fairs, markets, and bazaars featuring local artisans, crafters, and creators. With over 50 vendors at each event, you’re sure to find something special for everyone on your list. Plus, the first 25 people to attend each event will receive a free swag bag!

Pictures with Santa at Alderwood Mall

Between now and December 24, you can take part in the holiday tradition of a visit with Santa. Located at Alderwood Mall center court (near Macy’s), Santa is ready at to listen to holiday wishes and pose for photos.  Don’t miss it!

Holiday Public Skate

Try your hand at ice skating! Lynnwood Ice Center has Holiday Public Skating events multiple times a day from December 18-January 1 (except Christmas Day). Skate rental is available! Check the schedule and book your space now.

Full Day Winter Camp

If ice skating isn’t your kid’s thing, try Lynnwood Skate and Bowl Winter Day Camp, where ages 7-13 can learn the basics of roller skating, bowling, and more from certified instructors.  Running from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. December 18-22, kids will channel their holiday excitement into fun new activities. Plus, Skate and Bowl offers extended skating hours and additional public skates during the holiday season.

Julefest: A Nordic Holiday Celebration

On November 18 and 19, visit the National Nordic Museum’s 46th Annual Julefest! Enjoy an authentic Nordic holiday experience, modeled after the traditional outdoor Christmas markets found in the Nordic countries. Enjoy all the fun, festivities, and flavors associated with the Nordic holidays, with a Pacific Northwest twist!

Wintertide season kicks off in downtown Everett with a huge celebration on November 24 and 25. Spark your holiday spirit by joining in the fun: a holiday market of handcrafted gifts, live music and story time. Snap photos with Santa before he lights the tree, warm up with cocoa and cookies, and more! You can even snap a family photo with two of Santa’s reindeer, Dasher and Dancer.
